Not too long ago, I had the great pleasure of taking my Mom, daughter and cousin on a family vacation getaway. I wanted to share our trip, in case you may be looking for the perfect go-to locale in Hawaii that's great for kids, adults and teenagers!
We stayed at the Disney Aulani Resort in Ko Olina, Hawaii and it was the trip of a lifetime! As you can see from the picture above, our room had the most amazing view of the ocean and the entire resort.
When we got to Hawaii, we were instantly greeted by the resort staff and got beautiful leis and tropical drinks for our shuttle ride to the resort. We were so excited to see our room and Isabella was especially eager to meet Mickey!
Our beautiful room was an ocean view suite - and we were impressed with our huge balcony which overlooked everything!
It was so wonderfully fulfilling to be able to take my mother and my cousin Nina on their very first trip to Hawaii!
Upon arrival, we laid out our plans for the week which included going on a boat to see the Diamond Head volcano, going snorkeling, paddle boating, dining at fine restaurants, shopping and most importantly spending quality time with all of the Disney characters!
On the first day, Isabella was already chumming it up with Mickey and Minnie!
We even got to have breakfast with all of the Disney characters every morning at the resort "all you can eat breakfast!" At the character breakfast, we got the chance to get our photo taken with Mickey.
If you are planning on taking a trip that you would like to be inclusive for adults and kids of all ages, Disney's Aulani resort is the perfect option.
Below are pictures of us enjoying all of the activities in Ko Olina at the resort. We spent 5 days at Aulani and our last 2 days in Waikiki at the beautiful Westin Moana Surfrider - a luxury hotel in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the beach - perfect for teenagers and young Moms (like me who love to walk the beaches, fine dine at the best restaurants and get a surf session in)!
